Noted Tiatrist John Gomes was the chief guest. Vice President of Aakdemi Bhushan Bhave welcomed. "Akademi will definitely help all those who need financial assistance for publication of their scripts, be it in Roman or Devnagri script" he said in his speech.

Fr. Peter Raposo, Mr John Gomes, Fr Dr Pratap Naik, Felicio Cardozo, John Clara, President Pundalik Naik, Editor of Gulab Fr. Freddy da Costa, eminent Tiatrist Mr Tomazinho Cardoso and writer Mr Damodar Mauzo and co-ordinator Anthony Vaz also spoke on this occasion. Around 50 writers participated in the day long deliberations. 

The writers expressed happiness for having learnt the nuances and parameters of style of writing.
