RECONSTITUTING THE NEW GENERAL COUNCIL

Panaji - 03/01/06  Goa Konkani Akademi has started the process of reconstituting the New General Council for next 3 years (2005 - 2008). As per article 10 (xi) of Akademi's Constitution 6 persons each representing an Institution working in the field of Konkani Language, Literature & Culture, and recognised by the Executive Board of Akademi will be selected.

To reconstitute the New General Council the Akademi has invited applications from registered Institutions working in the field of Konkani Language, Literature and Culture and who desirous to represent on the Akademi's General Council. The application with full details including the report of activities of last 5 years should reach the Akademi's 243 Patto Colony, Panaji Office. Last date for such applications has been extended to 20th Jan 2006.
