Goa Konkani Akademi in joint collaboration with Raitur Seminary is organising a one day programme called ‘Our Tradition’ on 23^rd February, 2006 at Raitur Seminary. The inaugural function will start at 100 am. Rev Fr J B D’Silva the Chairman, ‘Gramdeep’ Sonti Bostovadd, Belgaum has been specially invited as chief guest. After the inauguration the 1^st session. i.e. a panel discussion on the topic ‘Our tradition: depicted in drama, tiatro and cinema’ will be held between 11.30 to 1.30 am. Shridhar Kamat, Vincy Quadros, Prince Jacob and Dharmanand Vernekar will participate and Shridhar Kamat Bambolkar will chair the session. The 2^nd session will start after the lunch. In this session shri Suresh Amonkar will be the main speaker and Bro Alex Carvalho and John M Afonso will be the co speakers. The topic of the discussion is ‘Literary contribution of Thomas Stephens.’

 At 3.30 pm final round of All Goa Audio-Video Quiz contest of college will be held. Sri Savio Suraj Victoria the winner of ‘Kaun BanegaCrorpati’ a national level programme has been specially invited by the Akademi to attend this function. Shri Mukesh Thali and Shri Jose Lowrence are the co-ordinators of this programme.

 The concluding function will start at 5.00 pm and Shri Alban Couto retired IAS Officer will be the chief guest. The prizes and certificates will be presented to the winners and the participants at his hands. Also Savio will be felicitated at his hands. Rev Fr Denis Fernandes will be the guest of honour and Shri Pundalik Naik, President of Goa Konkani Akademi will preside.
