‘Ashirwad’ bags  Tiatro-writing competition award

Panaji 22nd Jan.07 Goa Konkani Akademi has declared the result of its 6^th Tiatro-writing competition held in the name of ‘Pai Tiatrist Joao Agostinho Fernandes’, the first of Konkani stage.

Shri Bonicio Vitorin Pereira has won the first prize of Rs.4000/- for his script ‘Ashirwad’ which will be published soon in book form by the Akademi as per the provision. The second recipient is Shri Albert D’Souza and he has won Rs.3000/- for his script ‘Mummy Mhaka Tuze Veghet Dor’. While the third prize of Rs. 2,000/- is won by Shri Agnelo Fernandes for his script ‘Fattod’.

Renowned dramatist Smt. Irene Cardozo, Shri Premanand Lotleikar and Konkani writer Shri Vincy Quadros has worked as judges for this competition.

 Winners of the Tiatro-writing competition will be presented with the prizes in a programme organized by the Akademi at the Black Box of Kala Academy at 4.30 p.m. to mark the Official Language day celebration.
