Goa Konkani Akademi Congratulates Shri Datta D. Nayak

Panaji Dec 22 --  On behalf of Goa Konkani Akademi Dr. Tanaji Halankar Vice – President, Goa Konkani Akademi congratulates Shri Datta D Nayak, its Executive Board member for getting National Sahitya Akademi Award for his essays-collection, entitled “Jai Kai Jui”. Dr Halarnkar added that his essays have made an outstanding contribution to the Konkani essays-form of literature, owing to their uniqueness in language enrichment, thought-treasure and an attractive style of expression.

 He further stated that, on the background of receipt of few Sahitya Akademi awards to essays-form in all languages, the award to “Jai Kai Jui?” has honoured essays-form of Konkani language
