DHALLO - TEMPORARY FIELD WORKERS WANTED

Panaji Jan 19th - Goa Konkani Akademi intends to document various aspects of "Dhallo"; a Folk- dance form of Goa from different parts of Goa. Therefore Akademi has invited applications for the post of field workers purely on temporary basis. Interested persons can apply mentioning age, educational qualification and their experience and expertise in the field of Folklore.

Akademi will select 5 persons among the applicants and will give them basic training of field work and folklore collection. Selected field workers have to complete their assignment within a period of 3 months and submit their work to the Akademi in the form of Audio-Video and photographs.

A lumpsum honorarium of Rs. 15,000/- will be paid to these field workers besides their actual expenditure of recording and collection of the data.
