Four books to be released on GKA anniversary

Panaji March 8 – Goa Konkani Akademi, which is celebrating its 20^th anniversary day programme on 10^th march at Panaji office premises, this year decided to release four new books on different aspects of Konkani literature.

The first book is a collection of essays entitled ‘Aghal – Paghal written by eminent Konkani writer Shri Ravindra Kelekar. Second book is ‘Adann, and it is a collection of short stories written by later Shri Durgadas Gawade, who left this world at a very early age. The third book is written by Shri Mark de Araujo entitled ‘Bhum-Kamp and it is of tiatro. The manuscript won the first prize in Akademi’s tiatro writing competition 2005 and has been printed in book form as per the norm in the scheme. The forth book is the second edition of essays collection of late Shankar Bhandari, entitled ‘Paula – Konnkanni.

All these four books which Goa Konkani Akademi is going to release on March will aurely enrich the Konkani literature substantially.
