‘Ashirwad’ Book Release function on 23^rd August

Panaji, August 17- Goa konkani Akademi has organised a book releasing function on 23rd August 2010 at 4.30 p.m. at Our Lady of Lourd's church Hall, Uttorda . The book is entitled as 'Ashirwad' which is written by  eminent tiatrist Shri Benecio Vitorino Pereira and published by Goa Konkani Akademi, under it's schemes 'Tiatro Writing Competition .'

The book will be released at the hands of Shri Tomazinho Cardozo,President of Tiatro Akademi . Shri Damodar Mauzo eminent Novelist in Konkani will be the Chief Guest and Rev. Fr. Britto Fernanades, Padre Vigar of Our Lady of Lude's church will be the Guest of Honour . Shri Teotino D'costa will speak on the new book at this occassion.

Shri Benacio Pereira has more than 34 Tiatros at his credit . He has won number of prizes for his writings . For three successful years he got first prize in the Tiatro writing competition organised by Goa Konkani Akademi. He is also the recipient of Cultural Award of Government of Goa .

 The function is open for all, and the President of Goa Konkani Akademi Shri N. Shivdas has appealed to all the lovers of Tiatros and drama to attend it in huge number and make it successful.
