The President of Goa Konkani Akademi is appointed by the
Government. The Vice-President is elected by the General Council from amongst
its members. The Secretary is the principal Executive Officer of Goa Konkani
Akademi and is appointed by the General Council, executive Board and all the
other committees which may be set up by the General Council or by the Executive
Board but he is not a member of these authorities.
